About the job
We are currently looking for a Site Engineer-Civil to join our marine projects.
Your role will encompass:
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
- Overseeing of construction work.
- Supervising of contracted staff.
- Preparing site reports and logging progress.
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and timeframe.
- Prepare project execution plans and strategies, which are aligned with the projects’ targets and objectives.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, ensure compliance of quotations and technical proposals received.
- Review technical design constructions, ensure conformity with standards, optimize technical alternatives
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
- Reports to the Construction Manager/Site Manager.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience in the marine construction
- Knowledge of MS Office and AUTOCAD
- Knowledge of any Project Management tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) would be considered as an asset
- Basic commercial awareness
- Fluency in English language
- Driving license
- Completed military service (for male applicants)
