What you'll do
- Supervise assigned site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications and method statements
- Coordinate daily work requirements with foremen, subcontractors and suppliers
- Review construction drawings, identify discrepancies and raise technical queries
- Support short-term planning and monitor progress against the construction schedule
- Prepare daily site reports, progress records and quantity measurements
- Assist with method statements and material requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on technical submissions and quotations
- Coordinate inspections, testing and construction records with the quality team
- Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and report issues
- Support as-built records and handover documentation
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Civil works, earthworks and marine construction
- Civil construction site supervision
- AutoCAD and MS Office
- Construction drawing and technical specification interpretation
- Construction planning and scheduling
- Construction quantity measurement, cost and resource management
- Construction quality control and construction documentation
- Health, safety and environmental compliance; driving
- Civil Engineering
