About the job
We are currently looking for a Senior Sustainability Finance Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit Division team based in Paiania.
By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in our company’s effort for the sustainability processes and audit practices.
Your role will encompass:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of sustainability (ESG) and finance processes and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and their financial impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to sustainability finance.
- Provide recommendations for improving sustainability practices and financial controls.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in sustainability and finance.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ACCA, or Sustainability Finance certificates or relevant Governance or Sustainability Master’s will be considered as a plus.
- 5 years working experience as an auditor in an auditing firm or large listed company.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as IFRS S1, S2, TCFD, CSRD, GRI, UK Code, Greek Governance related Laws.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software (SAP) and data analytics tools (Power BI, or other).
- Flexibility to travel in accordance with job requirements.
- Completed military obligations (where applicable).
