What you'll do
- Review customer requirements for HVAC / MEP conceptual, basic, and detail design for power plants, industrial and datacenter facilities
- Prepare and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, system & functional descriptions, control diagrams, and general arrangement drawings
- Prepare and review technical specifications and datasheets for HVAC / MEP equipment
- Coordinate with vendors for system integration and with the electrical department for electrical feed sizing and equipment integration
- Participate in design review meetings
- Provide HVAC / MEP installation input and support to procurement team
- Review suppliers’ proposals for equipment
- Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
- Provide input and support to construction team and subcontractors
- Support site activities including temporary relocation to commissioning team
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Mechanical Engineering
- HVAC Design and HVAC / MEP Equipment knowledge
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, System & Functional Descriptions, Control Diagrams, and General Arrangement Drawings
- Technical Specifications preparation and review
- Vendor Coordination and Electrical Feed Sizing and Integration
- Design Review Meetings participation
- FAT, SAT, and Commissioning Support experience
- Construction Team Support
- BMS & Control Systems familiarity
- Hazardous Area Classifications knowledge
- Mechanical Engineering
