About the job

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our team as part of the Sales & Development department of the Thermal Power & HVDC division.

Your role will encompass:
• Leading the development and execution of sales and business development initiatives, identifying and evaluating new project opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders, acting as the main commercial point of contact
• Driving and supporting commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, profitability targets, and risk considerations
• Coordinating and contributing to tendering and proposal processes, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions
• Collaborating with internal teams (Proposals, Engineering, Contracts) to develop competitive technical and commercial offers
• Supporting the definition of project risk profiles and flagging potential commercial risks
• Developing account strategies and positioning tailored solutions based on client needs
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
• Monitoring and reporting sales pipeline progress, opportunities, and risks to management
• Representing the company in client meetings, commercial discussions, and industry events
• Ensuring effective communication and alignment across internal stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required

What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc will be considered an asset)
• 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, tendering, or commercial roles within energy, EPC, or infrastructure sectors
• Solid understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of EPC projects
• Proven experience in supporting or managing bids and large-scale project opportunities
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to position technical solutions effectively
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured approach
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international environments
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (e.g. German) will be considered an asset
• Willingness to travel when required
