About the job
We are currently looking for an Quality Assurance Officer to join our HSQ & Sustainability team in Athens offices.
Your role will encompass:
- Create, review and update quality assurance procedures, according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Analyse data and performance indicators, such as Retail Customer Satisfaction, to identify trends, root causes of quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Collect data and prepare detailed quality reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Participate in quality evaluation of supply chains and review contractual obligations of external providers (suppliers, vendors, contractors), based on applicable criteria
- Provide contribution to the development, monitoring and implementation of risks and opportunities management process, that may affect the activities of Segments MECS, MGM, MIST.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver awareness training programs to educate employees on quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain all procedures are traceable and documentation is readily available for review.
- Conduct internal quality audits across Power Plants and Segments (MECS, MGM, MIST) and participate in external audits by Certification Bodies.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and evaluate their effectiveness.
What you bring to the role:
- BSc or MSc in Engineering (Member of TEE)
- At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Management Systems. Experience in the energy industrial sector would be considered a plus.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Standards
- Experience in participating in projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of QA activities.
- Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits and familiarity with audit processes and reporting.
- Experience in creating and maintaining QA documentation (e.g., test plans, SOPs, quality reports)..
- Fluency in English is essential
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication & organizational skills, team spirit.
- Ability to to undertake domestic travel for audits
