METKA ΑΤΕ, as a subsidiary of METLEN, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, holding a seventh-class contractor’s certificate and now specializes in construction activities, undertaking infrastructure projects such as road construction, certified buildings, railway, marine projects, etc., as well as solid and liquid waste management projects.
We are currently looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join our METKA HR team.
Your role will encompass:
- Implement and continuously improve HR Operations processes and initiatives, with a focus on employee experience, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Act as a first point of contact for employees, providing timely and accurate support on HR-related matters such as contracts, benefits, company policies, and procedures, while ensuring compliance and alignment with best practices
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support seamless execution of HR services.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the HR Information System and prepare HR reports for internal/external use or audits.
- Administer employee benefits such as private insurance, meal vouchers, company cars, etc.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, system access, benefits setup, exit formalities)
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar HR administrative or operational role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or an MBA is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and Greek (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and excellent reporting skills.
- Solution-oriented, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team player with a flexible, adaptable attitude and strong organizational skills.
- Customer service oriented
- Solid understanding of labor law and payroll processes
