About the job

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller (Natural Gas Division) to join our team.


Your role will encompass:

  • Participates in the financial monitoring & analysis of the M Energy sector (Εnergy Generation & Management, Customer Solutions, Integrated Supply & Trading)
  • Develops financial forecasts and models to project future financial performance (P&L and CF)
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual budget & produces variance reports.
  • Conducts gap analysis and sensitivity analysis
  • Actively participates in the preparation of the Energy Council's monthly presentation

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is desirable (required in case of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering)
  • Approximately 4- 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the energy and energy products sector (or in an audit firm with a main focus on auditing companies in the above sectors)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
