About the job
We are currently looking for a Financial Controller (Natural Gas Division) to join our team.
Your role will encompass:
- Participates in the financial monitoring & analysis of the M Energy sector (Εnergy Generation & Management, Customer Solutions, Integrated Supply & Trading)
- Develops financial forecasts and models to project future financial performance (P&L and CF)
- Participates in the preparation of the annual budget & produces variance reports.
- Conducts gap analysis and sensitivity analysis
- Actively participates in the preparation of the Energy Council's monthly presentation
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a Bachelor's degree in engineering
- A Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is desirable (required in case of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering)
- Approximately 4- 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the energy and energy products sector (or in an audit firm with a main focus on auditing companies in the above sectors)
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
- Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
