About the job
We are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Electrical Design team in our offices in Athens.
Your role will encompass:
Preparation of technical specifications in line with projects technical requirements
Development of technical studies, drawings, schematics, cable lists, wiring diagrams
Drafting RfQs for equipment
Evaluation of technical offers from suppliers
Technical review and coordination of the deliverable design documents from suppliers
Meetings with suppliers/customer abroad
Participation in factory acceptance tests
Technical support to other company departments (proposals, erection, commissioning, etc.)
Technical review of documentation prepared by the team members
Technical coordination with team members
In general, participation at every stage of a project or projects execution following the project(s) time schedule regarding the electrical design
What you bring to the role:
Experience in Medium and High voltage systems for Protection & Control / SCADA
2+ years experience in power industry (Power plants, HV/MV substations) and large-scale construction projects for Protection & Control/SCADA.
Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD
Good background in electrical systems, familiar with international and European standards
Working knowledge of at least one power systems analysis software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD, EMTP)
Fluency in English
Problem solving mentality
High level of personal initiative and team spirit
