What you'll do
- Execute, review, and provide technical sign off on electrical systems design
- Prepare and sign off on Project BoQ related to design
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers in design and engineering execution of PV projects
- Review design output as part of Technical & Procurement Department processes
- Conduct technical review of bidding drafts for PV projects and ensure technical compliance
- Prepare engineering and technical annexes for contracts
- Define equipment specifications and participate in technical review of supplier offers
- Support Project Management and Construction teams with technical design details and back office support
- Perform occasional site visits as required
- Review grid regulations and collaborate with local consultants to define scope of supply and scope of works
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Electrical systems Design and engineering execution of PV projects
- Project BoQ preparation and sign off
- Team leadership and coordination
- Technical review of bidding drafts and contract preparation for technical annexes
- Equipment procurement specifications and review
- Support to Project Management and Construction teams
- Site visits and grid regulations review
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and fluency in English
- Communication skills, planning and organizational abilities
