About the job

We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our design team in Therman Power and HVDC division based in of our offices in Thessaloniki.

 

As a Design Engineer you will support the delivery of LV electrical systems design and cable engineering activities, including switchgear design, cable data management, and procurement support. The role offers exposure to the full engineering lifecycle.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Support the design of LV equipment and review associated documentation (i.e. layout, SLDs, 3-line drawings)

  • Maintain and update MV/LV cable lists in line with project design changes

  • Support cable length verification and reconciliation with routing and project data

  • Assist in cable sizing calculations

  • Prepare technical inputs for RFQs (panels, UPS, cables and accessories)

  • Support bid evaluations and vendor clarifications

  • Assist in BOQ preparation

  • Coordinate with internal teams

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 

  • 1+ years of experience in site engineering will be considered an asset 

  • Basic understanding of LV electrical systems (MCCs, DBs, distribution)

  • Familiarity with cable lists, load lists or BOQs is an advantage

  • Knowledge of engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM is a plus)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
