About the job

We are currently looking for a Civil Proposals Engineer to join our Proposals team for our Thermal Plants & HVDC Technology Division of the Renewables, Storage & Energy Transition (MRES-ET) within our Paiania offices.

 

Your role will encompass:

  • Understanding the technical aspects of the Tender

  • Identifying any risks as they arise from Tender documents associated with the Site conditions and requested arrangement

  • Executing calculations for estimation of basic dimensions of several structures of the Project (Bill of Quantities - BoQ)

  • Evaluating bids from Partners, Sub-contractors and suppliers and presenting recommendations to the Proposal Manager

  • Contacting the Customer and other proposals disciplines, departments (engineering, construction etc.), Partners, Sub-contractors, and external Consultants to fulfill the Tender requirements

  • Composing Layout Plan of the proposal working closely with technical experts within the organization

  • Composing Civil Works proposal (documentation, drawings, time schedule, and budget)

  • Clarifying with the Customer for the submitted offer

  • Archiving and organizing the proposal data

 

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or involvement in proposal, tendering, sales procedures, or project execution in the Energy sector will be considered an asset

  • Experience in Structural Design analysis and/or Construction Site operations

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficiency in French or German advantageous

  • Willingness to travel to customer and Project sites in Greece and abroad

  • Previous engagement in proposal/tendering/sales procedures or execution of Energy projects

  • Robust organizational, communication, and time management skills

  • Collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
