Guest Service Agent

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information and attending to their requirements

• Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers

• Understanding customer’s needs and providing them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel

• Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, taking messages)

• Make reservations at the restaurants, taking and distributing messages or mail and redirecting calls

• Ensure compliance with health and quality standards

• Responding to complaints and finding the appropriate solution

• Reply to requests (via email, social media and other) according to hotel rules

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English (oral and written)

• Solid knowledge of MS Office

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to work in shifts (morning/afternoon)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous experience in similar role in 5* hotel environment or customer service in other industry

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or in related field

• Familiarity with social media

• Knowledge of German or other languages

• Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and CRM
