What you'll do
- Clean public and employee restrooms and showers
- Clean glass surfaces in public and employee areas
- Clean floor surfaces using designated chemicals and equipment
- Dust surfaces in assigned areas
- Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns into proper containers
- Inspect furniture condition for tears, rips, stains, and report damages
- Clean and maintain lighting fixtures
- Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary
- Contact other departments for urgent repairs
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests
- Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Properly store flammable materials
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs
