The role involves hands-on mechanical repair and maintenance work, both at the company’s workshop and on board vessels, as well as at shipyards and ports.

Responsibilities
Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and technical service work on marine equipment.
Carry out dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and accurately record technical findings.
Perform technical work in accordance with drawings, manuals, instructions, and established procedures.
Participate in onboard service work and technical assignments at shipyards and ports.
Travel within Greece and internationally for technical assignments, as required.
Maintain flexibility regarding field assignments and working requirements when operational needs arise.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and technical reporting procedures.
Work closely with other members of the Technical team to ensure the safe, timely, and effective completion of each assignment.
Requirements
Degree or diploma from a Merchant Marine Engineering Academy or another relevant marine/mechanical technical school.
Practical familiarity with the onboard environment, engine rooms, marine equipment, and shipboard technical operations.
Previous hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, maintenance, servicing, or similar technical work.
Ability to confidently use mechanical tools and understand technical drawings, manuals, and instructions.
Basic working knowledge of English and computer literacy.
Availability and willingness to travel within Greece and abroad and work onboard vessels when required.
Strong technical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in demanding technical environments.
