What you'll do
- Evaluate film acquisition opportunities for creative and commercial potential
- Analyze audience appeal, market positioning, competition and anticipated title performance
- Support acquisition decisions with commercial analysis and recommendations
- Monitor upcoming titles, international film markets, studios, sales agents and industry developments
- Develop theatrical release strategies and support release planning and positioning
- Evaluate release timing, target audiences, comparable titles and market conditions
- Assess acquisition terms, financial viability, rights, territories, licensing and revenue structures
- Analyze potential costs, revenues and content value across exploitation windows and platforms
- Monitor admissions, gross box office, revenues, market share and opening performance
- Compare actual results with forecasts and comparable titles
- Identify performance trends, commercial opportunities and portfolio risks
- Track audience behavior, competitive releases and international market activity
- Prepare analytical reports, forecasts and presentations for senior management
- Translate box-office, market and commercial data into actionable recommendations
Key requirements
- 7+ years' experience
- Film acquisition evaluation, financial viability assessment and commercial analysis
- Film distribution economics, rights and territories analysis, and film distribution lifecycle
- Theatrical release strategy, competitive analysis and forecasting
- Box-office reporting and analysis and market intelligence
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, reporting and presentation
- Greek and international film industry knowledge
