About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated BIM Associate to join the BIM, GIS and Asset Management.
The BIM Associate will be reporting to the BIM Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• The integrity of all BIM-related systems and to ensure the Projects comply with the client’s Exchange
Information Requirements (EIR).
• International BIM standards (ISO 19650 and PAS/BS 1192 suites), client’s BIM workflows, guides and
procedures.
• Ensuring Compliance with International BIM Standards.
In detail, the BIM Associate amongst others, will have the following responsibilities:
• Assist in developing standards, methods and procedures for the Ellinikon.
• Assist in developing guides and templates to be used by all Appointed Parties during all phases of the
Ellinikon.
• Supervise projects for compliance with the Ellinikon BIM documentation (EIR, AIR, OIR, etc) and
provide governance of BIM implementation on project level.
• Review projects’ BIM Execution Plans developed by appointed parties.
• Monitor progress and audit models, design processes, resources, technology and standards utilised.
• Review BIM deliverables (3D models, drawings, reports, schedules extracted from the models all BIM
associated output) where applicable.
• Ensure agreed CDE procedures and file management processes are followed.
• Review the clash detection management process, validating federated coordination models and
clash reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing BIM Technologies, tools and systems that comply with the
client’s requirements, systems and set of rules.
• Develop guides and training material for all users and levels and provide training when necessary.
• Assist in developing processes and procedures for automatic data extraction.
• Working with stakeholders to obtain data exchange policies and review all required BIM
documentation (such as TIDPs, MIDPs, etc.) submitted by all stakeholders to ensure compliance with
client’s requirements.
You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or other construction related degree.
• 5 years professional experience in BIM environment in construction projects in large building
projects or programmes and 3 years in a BIM Management role preferred.
• International experience preferred.
• Holding a RICS / BRE / BSI / Operam or similar BIM accreditation.
Professional Experience:
• Experience in project lifecycle with a strong engineering background, establishing a common data
environment to ensure a healthy BIM database and data integrity in a collaborative way.
• Proficiency in BIM authoring, management, and collaboration tools (such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC ,
Civil 3D, Synchro PRO etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of developing and managing BIM processes, workflows and procedures.
• Experience in monitoring the production and reviewing BIM deliverables. Managing Exchange
Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans including the process, content, production,
evaluation and approval.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM-related international standards through practical
experience.
• Experience in leading BIM Coordination Meetings: Spatial Coordination of Disciplines, gathering all
disciplines BIM models including civil and preforming coordination tasks.
• High level of communication skills to foster teamwork to achieve optimum BIM performance.
• Experience in liaising with international Design Consultants, Contractors and clients in projects where
BIM was mandated as part of the engineering process.
• Experience in guiding appointing parties in the implementation and use of all dimensions of BIM (3D,
4D, 5D, 6D).
• Experience in assisting planning and estimation teams with BIM-related input and verifying results.
• Experience in developing marketing BIM material (images, animations, etc), if required.
• Proactive approach and learning of new technologies (software, hardware) to make value-add
recommendations to all stakeholders.
• Speaking and writing fluently in English and Greek.
