What you'll do
- Act as a trusted technology and automation consultant for business leaders and senior management
- Identify, assess and prioritise automation opportunities with business and functional units
- Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business needs into requirements, solution concepts, roadmaps and value cases
- Explain technical capabilities, constraints, risks and architectural decisions in clear business language to non-IT audiences
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise-ready solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio
- Extend Power Platform solutions with Azure services, REST APIs, custom connectors and professional-code components
- Build robust integrations with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, enterprise applications and approved data sources
- Apply sound software engineering practices including modular design, source control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and documentation
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, data protection, governance and application lifecycle management requirements
- Prepare and deliver presentations, decision papers, demonstrations and management updates for diverse stakeholders
- Take ownership of the complete solution lifecycle including production support, performance monitoring, incident analysis and continuous optimisation
- Collaborate with product teams, architects, analysts, security teams, platform administrators and citizen developers globally
- Coach business teams and citizen developers on solution design, platform capabilities, development standards and responsible automation
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, standards and best practices for Power Platform and automation capabilities
- Evaluate new Microsoft technologies for business value, technical fit, security and maintainability
Key requirements
- Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot Studio
- Azure services, REST APIs, custom connectors, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, Power Fx
- Software architecture, integration patterns, data modelling, security concepts and application lifecycle management
- CI/CD and source control with tools like Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Consulting skills including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and clear communication to non-technical audiences
- Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Business Informaticspreferred
