💼 Your everyday work-life 

• Build robust data analytics models to surface key insights using various analytics tools, techniques, and programming languages. Create the necessary datasets and develop detailed model specifications to ensure clarity and purpose for each model being built. Parse, cleanse, and manipulate large volumes of both structured and unstructured data, ensuring it is suitable for comprehensive analysis.

• Develop end-to-end data science applications which include complex distributed data processing, creating analysis frameworks (models, algorithms), and collaborating with the BI team to create custom visualization tools.

• Conduct quality assurance testing on models to guarantee that insights delivered are accurate and actionable.

• Collaborate with business units (BUs) to review data sources, addresses data inconsistencies, and refine business logic to initiate data discovery efforts.

• Work alongside Data Engineers to develop, test, implement, and maintain analytics models, including identifying attributes, conducting exploratory data analysis, applying data transformations, and managing temporal layouts.

• Optimize analytics solutions to enhance performance and scalability, while adhering to guidelines established by Data Engineers.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical models and findings. Deliver actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and business growth. Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

• Own decisions related to model selection and analytical approaches used within the analytics team. Ensure that the analytical outcomes are integrated into business processes and decision-making frameworks.

🚀 As an ideal fit, you should have 

• Minimum 3+ years in similar Data Science role

• Strong Experience in statistical modeling with focus in : Predictive Modelling/Classification, Segmentation, Recommendation Engines, NLP, Forecasting

• Strong Knowledge of Python in Databricks with 3+years of practical experience

• Certifications is a plus: Azure AI Fundamentals & Azure Data Scientist    

• Spark (pySpark/Sparklyr) Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of Power BI Reporting &  Data visualization

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statisticts,  Engineering or relevant field

• Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologies is a plus

• Good communication skills
