We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Athens as Junior Accountant.

The junior accountant will be occupied in Accounting department and will undertake daily and monthly tasks, such as accounting postings and reconciliations (customers, vendors). He/She will be involved in many operations of the department and communication with third parties.
This position addresses tight deadlines. Reports to the Accounting Supervisor.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare journal entries
- Complete general ledger operations
- Support monthly and year-end closing procedures
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare analysis of accounts upon request
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Review and process expense reports
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
What we’d love for you to have:
We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (especially EXCEL)
- Excellent command of English
- Experience in SAP ERP System (FI) will be considered as a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
