The Technical Operations Process and Validation Senior Scientist is responsible of the technical projects for Mandra site such as: Process Improvements & Validations, Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis, Investigations (INV) and CAPA related to Process, along with projects impacting the site Performance and Business results. 

In addition, he/ she manages the robustness of the technical transfer and processes (mixing, filling/ packaging and cleaning) right at first time (RFT) for the new products developed (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) by Research & Development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible of the Validation Master Plan (VMP) creation, revision and execution.
• Responsible to deliver the process and cleaning validation activities in alignment with the Regional Validation SME and Sub-Cluster Leader to ensure compliant and efficient performance consistent with established guideline and policies.
• Manages the robustness of the technical transfer and processes right at first time for the new products developed (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) by Research & Development teams Performs the Design for Manufacturability assessment (DfM).
• Manages business support activities (investigation, CAPA, process improvement, batch downsize, internal vessel transfer for the site). Manages regional initiatives such as Products Transfers as strategic initiatives and business continuity plan. Also is responsible of the Technical Operations laboratory.
• Collaborates with Operations, Quality, Planning, PMO, and R&D to identify opportunities and drive projects forward.
• Supports the manufacturing site during Audits. Supports the Sub-Cluster Leader for the local team development and training to new comers in the Technical Operations locally and regionally.
• Maintains updated the KPIs of the local team (process and validation).

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in operations as process / product engineer, process design / scale-up, product formulation in manufacturing, quality or R&D department
• GMP knowledge and QC experience is required. Knowledge of principles in validation and cosmetics and pharmaceutics’ industry approaches is an asset.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective and confident communication, Stakeholder management, ability to convince and influence others, along with teamwork mindset and dynamics understanding.
