The Mixing Lead is responsible for supervising mixing production operations, establishing personnel schedules, tracking production orders, and providing input to production flow. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mixing production plans to meet quality and efficiency goals in a manufacturing environment
• Supervise and mentor mixing production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production output and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production processes
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage equipment maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime
• Provide input to budget planning and cost control measures
• Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Facilitate effective communication within the department and with other stakeholders

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or production management and/or in similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Chemistry /Food technology or in other related field
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge is an asset
• Proven track record of leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical skills to drive strategic decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
