KPMG Greece is looking for Deal Advisory - Infrastructure Manager to support infrastructure finance projects and pipeline development. Infrastructure includes transport, utilities, social and digital infrastructure, water, energy infrastructure etc. We are seeking candidates with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a client-driven environment.

Key Αctivities and Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of proposals, pitch materials, and presentations for new business opportunities, ensuring timely and highest quality submissions.

• Lead and support the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and procurement documents for project finance and PPP transactions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including legal, tax, and technical, insurance, environmental and social experts, to provide comprehensive project finance solutions.

• Review and audit project finance models, providing oversight to junior team members.

• Develop complex financial models from scratch, as well as update and maintain existing models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Train and support more junior members in developing financial models for the infrastructure sector.

• Manage the financial structuring and analysis of large-scale PPP and infrastructure projects.

• Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and financial feasibility studies.

• Elaborate more complex sections of the reports at the required standards of quality and guide the team in preparing reports, memoranda, and recommendations to clients.

• Implement the strategy and feedback provided by leadership on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all deliverables meet engagement requirements.

• Manage client relationships to understand project finance needs and deliver tailored advisory services.

Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project finance, PPP advisory, or infrastructure transactions.

• Proven financial modelling experience, specifically for project finance and PPPs.

• Proven contribution to PPPs and concessions that reached financial close.

• BSc/MSc graduates in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields. Additionally, ACCA, CFA or MBA, or equivalent degree in finance, accounting, or economics is preferred.

• Solid academic foundation in financial management, accounting, and reporting and project finance.

• Native Greek language level and fluency in English is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced knowledge of VBA for project finance), PowerPoint, and Word.

• Strong business writing and communication skills.

• Knowledge of the PPP (Law 3389/2205) and concession projects framework in Greece.

• Know-how and capacity to review and write clauses of project finance related documents.(term sheets, mandate letters, fee letters, bond loan agreements, pledges, etc.)

• Ability to write financial clauses of concession contracts and PPP agreements, as well as to advise on tender and procurement strategies.
