About the job
About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Credit Control Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee credit management processes, ensuring consistent application of credit policies, conducting credit reviews, assessing customer creditworthiness, and optimizing receivables collection to minimize bad debt.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, support, and empower the Credit Control team to achieve collection objectives and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency
Monitor, review and report the department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis
Design and improve reporting and evaluation tools to reduce credit exposure and proactively identify potential problem areas or customers
Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of customer account statements
Collaborate closely with our internal Sales teams to establish collection approaches for key accounts
Communicate directly with key clients holding outstanding balances to negotiate settlements or structured payment arrangements
Manage receivables insurance policies and coordinate actions for the recovery of overdue accounts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably ideally within a structured Credit Control function
Proficiency in MS Excel (functions, pivot tables) and other MS Office applications
Familiarity with SAP and reporting tools such as Power BI will be considered an asset
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage time effectively
Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
