We are looking for an enthusiastic project developer to be based in Athens, Greece. You'd join our dynamic Project Development team who currently have over 400 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic plants and 250 megawatts (MW) of storage systems under development and always seeking to expand the portfolio. Your contribution to the energy transition

As our Senior Project Developer, you will contribute to the successful development and delivery of a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects, supporting activities across the full project lifecycle, from site identification through to financial close, and providing coordination during the construction phase up to the issuance of the Operation License. All of this whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams and reporting to the Head of Project Development and.

 

You can look forward to the following tasks:

  • Identification and evaluation of land suitable for Renewable Energy projects

  • Securing the land through lease agreements (in the case of private land) or other procedures in the case of public land and communication with the relevant stakeholders

  • Management and execution of all required actions with the competent authorities for the issuance of the necessary permits for Renewable Energy projects throughout the development and construction of the projects (Certificate of Producer, Environmental Terms Approval, Grid Connection Terms, Installation License, Construction Permits, Operation License, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain a network (developers, real estate agents, environmental auditors, public authorities, RAAEY, IPTO, HEDNO) necessary for the processing of permits

  • Regular reporting on the authorization phases of projects

  • Implement and comply with JUWI's procedures and standards

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or another relevant subject

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the development process of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) projects (PV, WIND, BESS) and accompanying works (access roads, MV Lines, Substations, HV Lines) and excellent knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations

  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit and ability to work independently

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project & Design Tools will be considered advantageous

  • Fluent in Greek and in English (verbal & writing)

  • Willing to travel frequently within Greece
