What you'll do
- Define the daily distribution plan according to warehousing operations and coordinate with customer service
- Allocate distribution activity to the inhouse fleet to maximize productivity
- Notify logistics providers about daily collection needs and secure transportation capacity
- Ensure on time delivery of orders and manage exceptions
- Collect KPIs data for evaluating logistics providers and inhouse fleet drivers
- Create reports and participate in strategic distribution network design for service and cost improvement
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Logistics industry knowledge including groupage, LTL, and FTL services
- Distribution planning and performance evaluation skills
- Proficient use of MS Office
- English language proficiency
- Strong communication skills with ability to handle pressure
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Team spirit and adaptability in dynamic work environments
- Customer service coordination
- Logistics / Business Administration

About the job
Responsibilities:
Define the daily distribution plan in accordance with the warehousing operations capacity and in close coordination with the customer service team.
Allocate portion of the distribution activity to the inhouse fleet and ensure maximum productivity.
Notify the logistics providers about the daily collection needs and pick up slots and secure capacity for the daily transportation and distribution needs.
Ensure on time orders delivery, follow up and manage exceptions.
Collect logistics providers KPIs data as an input for performance evaluation of the providers and similarly for the inhouse fleet drivers.
Create reports and participate in strategic distribution network design actions related to service and cost reduction improvement areas.
Candidate’s Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain. MBA will be considered a strong plus.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a logistics company or industrial firm.
Very good knowledge of the logistics industry in regards to groupage, LTL and FTL services.
Very good use of MS Office
Proficient in English language
Results driven personality with high service sensitivity, strong communication skills and resilience to handle pressure.
Ability to think analytically and solve problems
Team spirit with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
