What you'll do
- Lead engineering, design, and implementation of advanced security measures for systems, networks, applications, and information assets
- Implement and administer cyber security platforms, including EDR, WAF, PAM, and email security, with optimization and vendor management
- Deploy and administer SIEM platforms, developing detection use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and reports
- Detect threats, investigate incidents, and handle incident response with timely containment and root cause analysis
- Oversee and participate in vulnerability management programs for infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
- Coordinate and guide penetration testing engagements and communicate findings to teams and system owners
- Mentor colleagues and collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams cross-functionally
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Experience with EDR, SIEM, WAF, PAM, CASB, and vulnerability management
- Skills in cyber security incident handling and detection use case development
- Expertise in security architecture design and cloud security
- Vendor management and mentoring abilities

In your role, you will undertake tasks, such as:
Lead the engineering, design, and implementation of advanced security measures for the protection of systems, networks, applications, and information assets.
Implementation and Administration of Cyber Security Platforms (e.g., EDR, WAF, PAM, email security) including optimization, and vendor management.
Deployment and Administration of SIEM platforms, including development of detection use cases, correlation rules, dashboards and reports.
Threat detection, investigation, and incident response, ensuring timely containment, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
Oversight and participation in vulnerability management programs, including infrastructure, application, and cloud environments; define remediation priorities and track closure with system owners.
Coordinate and guide penetration testing engagements, report and communicate findings to development teams and system owners.
Mentor and support colleagues and collaborate cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and business teams.
Job requirements
To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:
University or College Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant technology-related field.
Proven working experience of 5+ years in the cyber security domain.
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with security technologies (EDR, SIEM, WAF, PAM, CASB, vulnerability management).
Strong experience with security architecture design, and cloud security.
Deep expertise in cyber security incident handling.
Recognized Cyber Security Certifications strongly preferred (OSCP, GPEN, eWPT, eCPPT, AZ-500, SC-200, CySA+, CEH, BTL1)
Excellent command of the Greek & English languages, both written and spoken
Completed military obligations for male candidates
