Intellectica is recruiting a Video Editor on behalf of its client, a fast-paced and forward-thinking media organization operating at the heart of the digital content ecosystem. Dedicated to informing and engaging B2C audiences through compelling journalism and multi-channel storytelling, the company combines creativity, agility, and technological innovation to drive its digital strategy. As the organization expands its content footprint, it is seeking a talented Video Editor to join its on-site digital team. Reporting to the Digital Business Unit Director, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with editorial and marketing teams to transform raw assets into impactful, visually engaging video content that resonates with a wide digital audience.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Editing digital video content for publication across web and social media platforms
• Assembling raw footage and applying creative storytelling techniques to develop compelling narratives
• Enhancing video quality through color grading, audio leveling, and motion graphics where needed
• Collaborating with journalists, content creators, and digital producers to meet editorial standards
• Adapting video formats and content styles based on platform-specific requirements and audience insights
• Managing version control and archiving of video content
• Meeting strict publishing deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree. Vocational Training or Certification in Media Studies, Video/Film Production, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, ideally in a digital media or online news environment, with a strong video creation portfolio
• Solid understanding of digital video formats, encoding, and optimization for online delivery
• Familiarity with current trends in digital media and online engagement strategies
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Suite tools (After Effects, Audition)
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
