What you'll do
- Support end-to-end execution of construction projects as part of the engineering team
- Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities aligning with technical designs and project specs
- Track and control project costs within assigned scope and approved budgets
- Monitor construction progress and timelines, identify risks early and implement corrective actions
- Oversee subcontractors and site teams ensuring efficient execution and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and construction requirements
- Support on-site technical problem-solving to improve constructability and execution efficiency
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and consultants for smooth project delivery
- Review technical drawings to identify inconsistencies, risks or optimisation opportunities
- Measure quantities and calculate materials ensuring accuracy and alignment with execution
- Review and validate subcontractor work to ensure deliverables meet scope and quality standards
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders on priorities, progress and site issues
- Prepare structured progress updates highlighting key milestones, risks and deviations
Key requirements
- 8+ years' experience
- Site Construction Management and Construction Supervision
- Project Budget Management and Negotiation with Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Health & Safety Compliance and Risk Identification and Mitigation
- Technical Drawing Review, Coordination with Architects and Engineers
- Construction Methodologies, Quantity Measurement and Material Calculation
- AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project
- English Language Proficiency
- Civil Engineering
