Intellectica is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager on behalf of its client, a leading technology company specializing in cutting-edge digital energy management solutions. The company is a spinoff of a well-established industrial automation firm, with a presence in over 25 countries and more than four decades of expertise across the energy, heavy industry, oil & gas, and maritime sectors. Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting to the CTO, the ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of the company’s platform and serve as a key interface between engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Aligning product development efforts with customer needs, market trends, and strategic business objectives
• Driving the execution of the company’s platform roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and outcomes
• Overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to production deployment
• Managing scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs in coordination with engineering, product, and commercial teams
• Coordinating cross-functional collaboration among technical, product, and business stakeholders
• Enforcing best practices in software development, including documentation, version control, and traceability
• Supervising product testing and release management to ensure smooth transitions to production environments
• Identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks to maintain development velocity and quality
• Maintaining a structured and transparent backlog for both technical and product development activities
• Leading and coaching development teams, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Communicating progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders through regular updates and proactive engagement

 Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the energy sector is a strong plus
• At least 5 years of experience managing software product development in a technical project management role
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing platform or service development roadmaps
• Solid understanding of modern software development methodologies and architectural frameworks
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and orchestration in distributed systems
• Familiarity with deployment processes and DevOps best practices
• Technical proficiency in tools such as Kafka, MQTT, Kubernetes, Node-RED, and modern databases
• Fluent in both English and Greek
