About the job
Based in Athens, the candidate will be reporting to the Chief Sales Engineer of the firm.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to promote high-quality pumps and increase market share
- Quotation preparation (datasheet, commercial offer, pump curves, quality dossier)
- Investigating customer needs and assisting in their fulfillment
- Co-operating with other team members in the coordination of sales efforts
- Collaborating closely with the engineering team to understand product specifications and technical details, ensuring accurate communication of product benefits and capabilities to clients
- Implementing the set sales plan and continuously monitoring results vs targets
- Monitoring and evaluating direct competition
- Any other task that may be required from time-to-time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Degree from a Technological/ Polytechnic University
- Technical knowledge of mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the pumps industry
- Experience with AUTOCAD or similar applications is considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS office applications
- Fluency in English
- Drivers’ license

- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows as required
