Intellectica is recruiting an SEO expert on behalf of its client, a dynamic and fast-growing media technology company that powers digital transformation for leading media organizations. With long-term client partnerships and a strong focus on innovation, the company delivers among others cutting-edge SEO and analytics solutions tailored to the needs of high-traffic publishers and broadcasters. As part of its expanding SEO team, the company is now seeking a Mid-Level SEO Expert to support the Head of SEO in driving organic growth across multiple digital properties. This role will report directly to the Head of SEO and work closely with client teams.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• You’ll be executing both on-page and off-page SEO strategies aimed at growing visibility, improving rankings, and driving traffic across a portfolio of high-traffic media websites

• Run deep-dive SEO audits; from technical SEO checks to content and backlink audits, you’ll regularly analyze site health and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to improve performance

• Support content with smart planning; you’ll conduct keyword research, cluster terms by intent, and build out content maps to help our editorial teams plan and optimize effectively

• Work on optimizing internal linking, refining site architecture, and implementing structured data (schema markup) to enhance how search engines interpret our content

• Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are baked into CMS templates and code — right from the start

• Measure and monitor; using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog, you’ll keep a close eye on SEO performance, flag issues, and identify new opportunities

• Contribute to outreach and backlink acquisition efforts in collaboration with the content and outreach teams, always aligned with content goals and brand tone

• Create and maintain SEO dashboards and reports in Looker Studio to help stakeholders understand what’s working, what needs improvement, and what’s next

• Occasionally, you’ll be involved in A/B testing and CRO efforts, using SEO insights to help optimize conversion paths and user journeys

• You’ll stay current with algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging best practices — and bring fresh ideas to the table

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management & Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

• Master’s degree and/or related certifications are considered a plus

• 4–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in content-rich environments such as media, publishing, or large-scale websites

• Proven expertise in both on-page and off-page SEO, including link-building strategies

• Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog

• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and familiarity with JavaScript from an SEO perspective

• Experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress

• Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, and technical SEO implementation

• Exposure to CRO tools and A/B testing methodologies

• Experience working with large eCommerce or publisher websites is a plus

• Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
