About the job
Based in Aspopyrgos, Greece and reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will analyze operational performance and suggest data-driven actions that optimize the use of resources and enhance effectiveness. This role involves the collection and analysis of resource usage data relating to operational processes, human resource, equipment, and material utilization and the predictions of future resource needs, taking into consideration performance optimization.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Planning resource utilization to meet project requirements based on historical data
- Adjusting schedules to accommodate emergency needs
- Monitoring and recording detailed data on resource allocation to maximize productivity
- Optimizing work time and equipment usage to increase efficiency
- Identifying areas for improvement in existing operational processes
- Creating performance indicators, tracking results, and providing recommendations
- Using data for short-term coordination and future planning
- Any other work that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related subject; MSc degree and certifications in Data Analytics is considered a strong plus
- Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is considered a strong plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems and other data analysis tools is considered a strong plus
- Fluent in Greek and English
