Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious Mechanical Electrical Engineer on behalf of a Group of companies providing tailor-made consulting services, delivery of high-tech products and construction of all kinds of Real Estate and/or RES projects. Currently, the company is actively involved in Public-Private Partnership contracts, public works, private equity developments, real estate management of its own portfolio and consulting services in the Defense and Security Industry. Based in Heraklion, Greece, and reporting to the Lead Project Manager the successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, coordinating and supporting the implementation of key local engineering projects.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Support the execution of large-scale projects, including a public building renovation

• Collaborate with project managers and civil engineers to ensure smooth delivery of MEP-related tasks

• Review and interpret ready-made technical studies, perform measurements, and validate compliance with specifications

• Assist in site supervision, quality control, and progress monitoring for assigned projects

• Ensure designed systems meet all safety and performance requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with MEP systems during construction or operation

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and quality requirements

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability

• Contribute to a highly collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Ideally 5 years of relevant experience; however, candidates with fewer or more years will also be considered

• Solid understanding of MEP systems and construction processes

• Familiarity with public works and large-scale building projects is an advantage

• Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office suite

• Valid driving license

• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and verbal
