Intellectica is recruiting a Junior Project Manager on behalf of its client, a fast-scaling web agency delivering cutting-edge technology and digital solutions to high-profile clients, primarily in the media sector. The company specializes in the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of digital platforms, including complex website rebuilds and redesigns. With a strong focus on agility, quality, and client trust, the team is expanding to support its growing portfolio of digital transformation projects. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the PMO, you will support the delivery of web-based initiatives by coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth execution across all project phases.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Supporting the end-to-end delivery of digital projects (e.g., website implementations, redesigns, and maintenance), from requirements gathering to final handover

• Assisting in the creation and tracking of project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations

• Collaborating with development, design, UX, social media, and marketing teams to facilitate project execution

• Maintaining essential project documentation, including timelines, governance structures, and implementation guidelines

• Participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and helping teams stay organized and focused

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to share progress updates and support alignment on priorities

• Monitoring budgets and assisting with invoicing and financial tracking

• Coordinating resource allocation and task prioritization using project management tools

• Identifying potential risks and supporting the resolution of project-related issues

• Building trust with clients by supporting relationship management and helping resolve project challenges

• Assisting in the change request process, including documentation updates, resource adjustments, and client communications

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Certification in Agile Project Management (e.g., PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile, PSM II) is highly desirable

• 2 years of professional experience in software project coordination role

• Exposure to web projects (e.g., website redesigns, CMS migrations, SEO optimization, responsive design)

• Strong understanding of the full cycle of a web project, from discovery and design to development, testing, launch, and maintenance

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and hybrid Waterfall-Agile environments

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, creative and digital teams, and external stakeholders

• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teamwork, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet is a plus

• Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore) is highly desirable

• Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
