Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in managing invoicing, payments, and supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive informed business decisions.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Issuing invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Processing payments efficiently and accurately
• Liaising with clients for revenue collection and suppliers to coordinate timely payments, maintaining accurate accounts receivable and payable records
• Liaising with external accounting office to ensure accounting entries are processed on-time and in-full
• Assisting with management accounting tasks, including costing and profitability analysis, to support managerial decision-making
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports to support management decision-making
• Ensuring VAT and other relevant tax obligations are fulfilled in a timely and compliant manner
• Supporting budgeting processes by analyzing actual results against targets and budgets, identifying variances
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining robust financial control procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Any other task may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Technological Educational Institute degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting; prior experience in an accounting office or the clothing industry is advantageous
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is a strong plus
• Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable
• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
