Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure accurate, data-driven insights and contribute to informed business decisions.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Analyzing current and future financial data and performance to identify trends and support decision-making
• Preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports and financial projections for management review
• Tracking and determining financial status by analyzing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and group targets, highlighting variances
• Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive budgets and accurate financial forecasts
• Assisting in implementing and monitoring robust financial control procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Supporting and performing tasks in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Collaborating closely with the Finance team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information across all reports
• Any other task may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• BSc in Finance or a related field; a master’s degree and/or certifications such as CFA, FMVA, or similar are considered an advantage
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Qlik) would be an advantage
• Advanced expertise in the MS Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel
• Fluency in Greek and English, with advanced business writing skills
