Intellectica is recruiting an Engineering & Services Development Manager on behalf of a subsidiary of a group of companies with over 20 years of experience in electricity generation and supply from Renewable Energy Sources. The subsidiary is a fast-growing technology company based in Athens, Greece, leading innovation in the sustainable mobility sector through cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure and digital services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the company’s core digital platform and service offerings, managing the Platform Development & Services team — including software engineers and product/service managers — and shaping the company’s technical roadmap.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing and executing the product and services strategy across the EV solutions portfolio
• Designing commercial specifications for new offerings, both in-house and through strategic partnerships
• Conducting user and market research to enhance platform functionality and user experience
• Introducing innovative technology solutions for public charging and connected devices
• Defining business and technical requirements to support product planning and commercial alignment
• Designing the platform’s system architecture using service-oriented and cloud-native principles
• Overseeing the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring quality, security, and scalability
• Embedding cybersecurity principles throughout the software development lifecycle
• Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and debugging processes
• Leading and mentoring cross-functional engineering and services teams to drive performance and innovation
• Ensuring continuous technical training and skills development across the team
• Providing day-to-day technical guidance and problem-solving support to software engineers
• Collaborating with external partners to integrate third-party EV chargers and technologies into the platform
• Aligning platform development with commercial objectives and strategic EV partnerships
• Monitoring and managing project delivery timelines and budgets
• Tracking and reporting performance against key KPIs (e.g., platform uptime, user satisfaction, market growth, issue resolution speed)

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role, combining software development and technical leadership
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing platform or service development roadmaps
• Strong coding background in Python and JavaScript
• Solid experience with modern cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and cloud-native technologies
• Familiarity with operating systems, databases, DevOps practices, and deployment pipelines
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance, system security, and cyber-resilience standards
• Fluent in both English and Greek
