Intellectica is seeking an experienced Commerical Director on behalf of a leading Occupational Health and Safety service provider in Greece. To support its continued expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead its commercial strategy and drive growth. Based in Athens, Attiki, the Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and optimizing marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this individual will oversee a team of 15 professionals across sales, marketing, contracts, and customer service, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Defining and executing commercial strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion
• Conducting thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities
• Leading the sales and marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and maximize customer engagement
• Developing and managing strategic partnerships to strengthen the company’s competitive positioning
• Overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring favorable terms that align with business objectives
• Establishing and monitoring KPIs to evaluate commercial performance and inform data-driven decision-making
• Collaborating with senior management to define financial targets and ensure effective budget allocation
• Continuously improving internal processes and optimizing team performance to enhance efficiency and service delivery
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or an MBA will be considered a valuable asset
• Proven experience in a commercial management or similar role, with a strong focus on identifying new commercial opportunities
• Demonstrated experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
• Previous experience in a similar company or industry is highly desirable
• In-depth understanding of current health and safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices, will be considered a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluent in both English and Greek
