Intellectica is recruiting an experienced and purpose-driven Business Development Specialist on behalf of its client, a leading non-profit organization committed to creating equal opportunities through knowledge, employment, and personal development. With a 30-year presence in the Greek market, the organization places people at the heart of its services, offering inclusive upskilling, reskilling, and community-focused programs that empower individuals to realize their full potential. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report directly to the Community & Development Manager and will drive strategic partnerships, corporate collaborations and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.

 

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Identify, approach, and develop new corporate partnerships through proactive outreach, networking, and market research

  • Manage the full business development cycle, including lead generation, discovery calls, pitching, and closing strategic collaborations

  • Design and present customized proposals that align the organization’s social impact objectives with corporate ESG goals

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners, ensuring high retention and identifying opportunities for expanded engagement

  • Utilize CRM systems to track interactions, manage pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting on partnership activities

  • Prepare professional presentations and communication materials for C-level executives

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, tracking success metrics for corporate engagement and social impact

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations teams to create sales enablement materials and ensure smooth delivery of partnership agreements

  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

 

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales and business development, ideally with exposure to CSR, corporate giving, or fundraising as a plus

  • Experience in NGOs, tech startups, research institutions, or consultancy firms is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and digital tools

  • Fluent in Greek and proficient in English, both written and spoken

 

Core competencies of a successful candidate:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate social impact into business value

  • Results-driven with a proactive, can-do approach

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Emotionally intelligent and adaptable in diverse environments

  • Able to represent the organization professionally in external settings
