Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious Brand Manager on behalf of a leading Greek pharmaceutical company with an established international footprint and a dynamic legacy in innovation, research, and development. A key player in the domestic pharmacy channel, the company offers, among other categories, OTC and consumer health products. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will join a highly collaborative and experienced marketing department and take ownership of brand development. This role involves driving strategic brand initiatives, optimizing multichannel communication, and fostering engagement among healthcare professionals and consumers alike.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Owning end-to-end brand strategy, positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across channels, and adapting to the unique needs of both healthcare professionals and consumers
Proposing annual brand plans and budgets in alignment with commercial goals; managing implementation and monitoring ROI
Coordinating integrated marketing campaigns, including ATL (TV, radio), BTL (pharmacy materials, congresses), and digital activations
Collaborating with creative and media agencies to execute approved plans and promotional strategies
Overseeing product performance through ongoing analysis of sell-out data using platforms such as Nielsen, IRI and IQVIA
Conducting competitor benchmarking and gathering market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities
Supporting medical marketing efforts by developing educational materials for healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
Actively contributing to portfolio strategy discussions, innovation pipelines, and commercial planning cycles
Any other work that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences
Master’s degree in Marketing, MBA and/or related certifications are considered a plus
At least 5 years of experience in brand/product management, ideally within consumer healthcare, FMCG or pharmaceutical companies
Exposure to consumer-oriented and OTC pharmaceutical brands is considered a plus
Solid understanding of the Greek consumer healthcare market
Proven ability to analyze marketing data from platforms such as Nielsen, IRI or IQVIA
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
