Intellectica is recruiting a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor on behalf of a leader in international transportation and logistics solutions, specializing in seamless and efficient connections across key markets. The role is based in Aspropyrgos, Greece, and reports directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, supporting the firm’s financial operations, and contributing to the company’s continued success.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Managing cash flow and maintaining communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to address financial issues and ensure smooth transactions

• Monitoring bank transactions and overall cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

• Supervising contracts and agreements of the company, ensuring they are properly managed and executed

• Coordinating with the external accounting firm regarding tax matters and financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Overseeing and coordinating the internal team (2 accounting assistants) to ensure all entries and invoicing are done correctly and in a timely manner

• Supervising payroll to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Communicating with C-level executives to provide accurate and timely financial information

• Assisting in the implementation of changes or new processes and systems to improve efficiency

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) or a master’s degree in Accounting & Finance is considered a plus

• At least 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a preferably within a services environment

• Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP and tax regulations

• Familiarity with ERP Software (preferably Softone, Epsilonnet) is highly valued

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel

• Familiarity with Payroll Software (preferably Epsilonnet)

• Fluency in Greek and English
