Intellectica is recruiting a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant on behalf of a leading economic consulting company, known for its expertise in financial and tax advisory services. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Performing accounting entries and bookkeeping
• Reconciling bank, customer, and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy
• Performing balance sheet reconciliation
• Ensuring accurate reporting of income and expenses in compliance with MyDATA requirements
• Preparing and submitting tax declarations (VAT, withholding taxes, VIES, etc.) and other mandatory reports
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions
• Any other task that may be required from time-to-time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting & tax advisory services
• Familiarity with Greek Accounting Standards (ΕΛΠ)
• Familiarity with ERP Software (preferably Epsilonnet, Softone, SAP) is highly valued
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel
• Fluency in both Greek and English
