What you'll do
- Follow SAP Core Model methodology from legal entity assessment to user acceptance testing

- Manage barcode inventory management application for plants not using EWM
- Design improvements and rollout barcode inventory solution across sites, working with providers
Key requirements
- 6+ years' experience
- Expertise in SAP EWM, SRM, and MM with integration knowledge
- Strong SAP implementation skills
- Good understanding of application architecture and solution design
- Experience in user acceptance testing and change request management
- Business requirements analysis and documentation skills
- Experience in multicultural management and collaboration with IT consulting companies
- Fluent English
- Information Systems / Management

About the job
The Business Solution Architect - Material flows responsibility is to ensure the success of the SAP Core Model project by providing a functional and technical drive to solution components during and after the SAP Core Model rollouts across Imerys Business Areas.
The Business Solution Architect’s prime responsibility is to direct solution design and build, maintain a high level of IT expertise and manage the resulting maintenance and evolution cycles for SAP Core Model.
The Business Solution Architect is in charge of managing the solution definition and maintenance on his/her domain.
Responsibilities
The main missions of the Business Solution Architect are to:
SAP Core Model Design and Build:
Follow the SAP Core Model methodology from legal entity assessment to user acceptance testing
This includes the responsibility of application activities related to business requirements, analysis, solution design leading configuration (for CR and liaising with Opera Dev Factory), testing, documentation, training and acceptance
Work closely with his/her counterpart in the IT consulting companies
SAP Core Model Rollout and Improvement:
Ensure close relationship with SAP Core Model & Wave teams for deployments across Imerys Business Areas to ensure knowledge transfer and standard compliance with OPERA rollout methodology
Ensure that Change Requests are properly understood and approved by Business Process Owners before any configuration and/or development
Ensure that the Business Requirements are effectively addressed through maximal and optimal standard configuration
Promote the SAP Core Model Methodology across IT organization
SAP Core Model Continuous Improvement:
Ensure that Change Requests are properly implemented, documented and delivered according to Imerys Core Model
Light barcode inventory management solution:
Handle the application for barcode inventory management (inventory counting, picking, etc.) in the plants where EWM would not be needed.
Design the improvements of the solution and rollout the application into the different sites. Work closely with the provider on new developments and support topics
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information System, Master's degree in Management (desirable)
Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP for EWM, SRM and MM.
Experience in a team geographically dispersed (multicultural management experience)
Fluent in English
Functional and technical skills:
Strong business and functional knowledge on SAP EWM/SRM activities with an understanding of integration with other processes such as Sales, Purchasing, Production, etc.
Have a strong expertise in SAP implementation
Have a good knowledge and understanding of application architecture
Ability to lead specific studies / assignments with internal and/or external resources and functions
