What you'll do
- Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
- Operate and monitor autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
- Follow hygiene and safety protocols in line with hospital standards
- Maintain records and logs according to quality control procedures
- Coordinate with operating theatres and other departments to support smooth sterilization operations
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Sterilization procedures, autoclave operation, and medical equipment cleaning and disinfection
- Medical equipment packaging and medical equipment and instrument handling
- ISO operating standards and health and safety protocols
- Quality control and record keeping
- Basic computer skills
- Secondary Education / Nursing Assistant / Sterilization Technology
