About the job
A Systems Senior Engineer with proven experience in datacenter environments, virtualization, and the Microsoft technology stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud (Azure) platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across all Corporate IT systems.
Responsibilities
Implements and maintain virtualization platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, clusters, Storages and backups).
Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads in Microsoft Azure.
Implement and maintain Windows & Linux Server environments and demonstrate strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.
Support Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure AD / Entra ID integration.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, monitoring setup, and incident resolution.
Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance, performance, and reliability.
Performs configuration management and disaster recovery tasks on a new environment.
Provide 2nd level support.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Solid knowledge of Hyper-V and/or VMware environments.
Experience in backup/recovery platforms
Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure Arc, and Intune MDM.
Strong understanding of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, and related services.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
Azure Certification(s)
Effective/clear communication
Cooperation and teamwork
Fluency in English (oral & written)

Our industrial facilities in Bucharest, Romania produce a wide product portfolio which includes cables for indoor installations, power, control, industrial applications, low and medium voltage, are-retardant, are-resistant and halogen-free cables, mine cables, marine and special-requirement cables, telecommunication cables, signaling, remote control and data transmission cables, as well as plastic and rubber compounds.
