About the job

A Senior Digital Transformation Systems Engineer will play a key part in modernizing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and enabling seamless implementation of enterprise applications.

He will collaborate closely with developers and functional teams to support application deployment, ERP systems (including SAP Basis), and cloud integration, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance across the organization. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure and digital platforms.

  • Support and administer ERP systems (particularly SAP Basis) and ensure system availability, security, and optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with developers to support application deployment, integration, and performance tuning.

  • Participate in cloud migration and modernization projects aligned with the company’s digital transformation goals.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency and automation.

  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices, including infrastructure as code where applicable.

  • Ability to design and implement automation, monitoring and reporting solutions (MS PowerShell, Python, Bash, MS Graph, MS Power Platform, Active Directory, Entra ID).

  • Ensure system security, data protection, and compliance with IT governance standards.

  • Strong expertise in Windows and Linux systems administration.

  • Experience with containerization, virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V & VMWare ESXi) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

  • Excellent understanding of networking, security, and storage technologies.

  • Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and troubleshooting support to IT and application teams.

  • Provide 2nd level support.

  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, monitoring setup, and incident resolution.

  • Performs configuration management and disaster recovery tasks on a new environment.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure management, or DevOps environments.

  • Solid experience with ERP systems administration, ideally SAP Basis (installation, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting).

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and virtualization technologies.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Good understanding of networking, security, storage, and backup technologies.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and ERP specialists.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Azure or Other related Certification(s)

  • Effective/clear communication

  • Cooperation and teamwork

  • Fluency in English (oral & written)
