HELLENIC CABLES S.A. 

  is seeking a Production Engineer to join our team in our Plant in Thiva, which focuses on the production of onshore power cables.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of the production program and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage, evaluate, and propose enhancements for working conditions, functionality, ergonomics, and performance in responsible departments (aiming to increase productivity and reduce scrap, rebates, and overweight issues).
• Recommend and oversee the incorporation of new materials.
• Furnish process documentation and operational instructions.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Provide recommendations for system modifications or investments to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial environment
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost-effective solutions
• Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organization skills to prioritize workload
• Excellent understanding of budget development, monitoring and control
• Results and action oriented
• Ability to provide timely and effective communication
