HELLENIC CABLELS S.A.
is seeking a Laboratory (High Voltage) Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Corinth that focuses on the production of high and extra high voltage submarine cables
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate and perform electrical / High Voltage tests & measurements
Issue and review technical documents
Study international specifications and standards and participate in technical meetings
Issue operating & safety instructions
Train and develop laboratory personnel
Resolve emerging problems/deficiencies and address open technical issues
Process and interpret measured data
Plan, prioritize & oversee the laboratory operating schedule to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Specify and monitor Lab KPI’s
Ensure the safe use and regular maintenance of the Laboratory equipment
Foresee and suggest future needs in equipment/ special constructions
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (5-year integrated program - preferably Energy sector)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
Fluent in English
Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost- effective solutions
Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
Strong organization skills to prioritize workload
Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics
Familiar with Quality Assurance Regulations
Time-management skills

Our industrial facilities in Bucharest, Romania produce a wide product portfolio which includes cables for indoor installations, power, control, industrial applications, low and medium voltage, are-retardant, are-resistant and halogen-free cables, mine cables, marine and special-requirement cables, telecommunication cables, signaling, remote control and data transmission cables, as well as plastic and rubber compounds.
