financial analyst – capex

On behalf of our client, a Multinational organization leader in its field, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst – CAPEX. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven analysis to support business decision-making. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior management. You are responsible for

• Monitor and track spending for all capital investment projects

• Prepare monthly CAPEX reports, variance analyses, and expenditure reviews

• Reconcile budgeted vs actual costs, ERP entries, and project documentation

• Review investment requests, business cases, and spending plans to support management approvals

• Develop and maintain financial models for CAPEX forecasting, ROI/NPV analysis, and project evaluation

• Ensure accuracy of asset-related records, classifications, and capitalization

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance departments to validate data and timelines

• Identify deviations, risks, or potential overruns, and recommend corrective actions

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles for investment projects

• Maintain dashboards and KPIs related to project performance

• Provide support for ad-hoc analyses, audits, and continuous process improvements

Your Education & Qualifications are

• BSc / MSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or corporate finance

• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis

• Proficiency in MS Office suite and advanced skills in Excel (Power Pivot and Power Query), Power BI background will be considered an asset

• Knowledge of Entersoft or other ERP experience will be considered an asset

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Fluency in both written and verbal communication in English & Greek
